Order Processing
All Internet orders for in-stock items processed through our online shopping cart are processed within two (2) business day. All items may not be in stock at the time of your order. Because we manufacture and chrome-plate the vast majority of our products on-site, there may be a slight delay in shipping while your parts are finished. If there will be a delay of more than two business days, we will contact you at the phone number and/or e-mail address you provided at the time of order. Please make sure to adjust your spam filter to accept e-mails from our “paughco.com”"paughcoparts.com" domain.
With some exceptions the balance of our frames, springers, gas and oil tanks are built to order items. They are manufactured to order, and have lead times of four to eight weeks (ship times vary depending on demand and manufacturing processes), depending on the time of the year. Frame and Springer orders are confirmed via phone by one of our techs. We will reach out once your order is received and confirm build specs and application. Built to order items are considered custom and non refundable unless a warranty defect is determined. Order cancelations are subjected to a 10% cancelation fee prior to build finalization. Built to order parts can be canceled five(5) days after order date as long as the order has not gone through our finalization process with a Paughco tech. Once the build specs are finalized the item is no longer refundable unless a warranty defect is determined by our team. (see Paughco's warranty section for more information.)
Shipping Policy
All orders are shipped by FedEx to residential or business addresses in the continental US…. also known as the lower 48 states. Sorry, but we cannot ship to APO or FPO addresses, or P.O. Boxes. To help us expedite your order, please double check the accuracy of your shipping and contact information before you transmit it. While placing your online order, you will be given the option of having it shipped by one of four methods. They are:
FedEx Ground
FedEx 3 Day Express Saver
FedEx 2 Day Air
FedEx Standard Overnight
Please consult the FedEx Shipping Chart below to help you in determining your best option. Obviously, it would be senseless to choose 3 Day Express Saver, and pay the extra costs associated with that choice, if you live in a FedEx two day or three day ground service area.
All retail orders of $250.00 or more (including the items that are part of our “In-Stock Frames”) qualify for FedEx Ground FREE FREIGHT. If one of the other shipping methods is chosen, no credit will be given for the difference between the ground freight amount and the freight cost for the chosen method. Said another way, if you purchase $250.00 or more of products and choose a shipping method other than FedEx Ground, Paughco won’t be contributing anything towards your freight costs.
There have been instances where orders consisting of two or more boxes, were charged an incorrect amount of freight by our FedEx shipping computer. This situation can occur when the order didn’t qualify for free FedEx Ground freight, or, the customer specified a shipping method other than FedEx Ground, or there is some other anomaly with the order. Sometimes, this will result in additional freight charges, or sometimes there will be a credit due to the customer. Paughco, Inc. reserves the right to make these adjustments after first contacting the customer to make them aware of the need for a freight charge adjustment.
Our agreement with FedEx states that all shipments do NOT require a signature for packages being delivered. If you do not feel it is safe to leave the package on your doorstep if there is no one home, please indicate in writing that a signature is required in the “Special Request” box in our Shopping Cart.
Any order that is returned to Paughco, Inc. as being undeliverable, will be charged a 20% restocking fee in addition to the return freight charges. This amount will be deducted from the amount that we credit back to you on your charge card.
Freight Claims
All products are thoroughly inspected and packaged, and are in good condition when they leave our shipping department. If a box is damaged in transit (broken open and/or badly crushed), and the product has been damaged as a result, you should immediately notify FedEx
CLAIMS:
The delivery of merchandise in good condition is the responsibility of the carrier. If items arrive damaged and it’s apparent that the damage is the carrier’s fault, contact Paughco immediately, and we will initiate a claim with the carrier on your behalf.
RETURNS:
A Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA) must accompany all items being returned. Parts need to be returned in their original packaging within 14 days of RGA number being issued, or they will be cancelled. Other return requirements may be given when an RGA number is issued. Any item returned due to shipping error or defect will be replaced or will be credited once part has been returned to PAUGHCO, INC. and inspected. Returns will be accepted within 90 days of invoice. Please inspect at time of Delivery to avoid the after 90 day return limit. Exchanges will not be shipped until part has been returned to PAUGHCO, INC., inspected and there will be a 20% restocking charge. We will only accept returns for parts that are defective. We will not accept Modified or Special Ordered parts on a return basis. Orders for Frames, Springers, or Gas and Oil Tanks that are cancelled prior to being shipped will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
WARRANTY:
All merchandise is fully guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship for 90 days. Chrome-plating is guaranteed for 90 days against pitting, peeling and flaking. There is no warranty for bluing, pitting or bubbling of the chrome-plating on exhaust systems..... this is usually an indication of an engine that is out-of-tune. Frame, Springer, fuel tank, and oil tank claims can only be decided after PAUGHCO, INC. inspects the item via email pictures. The warranty does not cover when anything has been painted or labor claims of any type. If items are painted your warranty is then null and void. We suggest dry build prior to paint. Exhaust systems run will not be able to be returned for any reason. Items that have rusted while in your possession and or Dealer inventory, cannot be returned for warranty or credit.... unprotected metal parts will rust in humid climates.
Nevada law governs all transactions between Paughco, Inc. and its customers.
TERMS AND POLICIES
TERMS:
PAUGHCO, INC. does not offer open accounts. All dealer orders are shipped prepaid by MASTERCARD,
VISA, and or bank wire. Payment is not processed until your order is ready to be shipped. All foreign orders must be prepaid in U.S. funds. There is a $25.00 service charge on credit card charge backs.
To become a PAUGHCO dealer, you must place an order for more than $500.00 at the
time of your application. To maintain your dealer status you must purchase a minimum of $1,000.00 annually. If this minimum is not met, and we deactivate your account, you must re-apply by completing another application, and submitting an order in excess of $500.00.
PAUGHCO, INC. maintains backorders on out of stock items. We will not automatically ship a backorder without first contacting dealer or retail customer for authorization. Web Backorders will ship when available.
Any request for a duplicate Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO), or a new MSO due to a name change, will be subject to a $50.00 fee.
SHIPPING:
All orders are shipped from our plant in Carson City, Nevada. Any order for Dealers exceeding $295.00 (with the exception of discounted orders, and truck or foreign shipments) or any orders exceeding $250.00 for call in retail orders will be shipped freight free via FedEx ground service or UPS for all Shopify/Web orders. All foreign orders are shipped via Dealer Freight Forwarder or Shopify. Frames and Trike kits DO NOT qualify for free freight unless otherwise noted. Please contact our sales department for shipping estimates on these products. Free freight offer applies to the continental United States only (not Alaska or Hawaii). A 20% restocking fee and return freight charges will apply to orders that are refused.
